Digital Natives are young people that were born in the late 1990’s. Marc prenskey defines digital immigrants “were not born into the digital world but have, at some later point in our lives, become fascinated by and adopted many or most aspects of the new technology” (Prensky, 2001).
Prensky (2001) defines this younger generation as the digital natives as they, are all “native speakers” of the digital language of computers, video games and the Internet. Prensky refers to people who were born before this new digital era, which began around 1980, as Digital Immigrants.
